I am restoring a '65 Malibu SS and would like to be able to use 14 inch wheels some of the time with original hubcaps. Is there a code for the disc brake wheels that came on the '67 to 72 chvelles, and will they interchange? Any recommendation for which calipers to use. Thanks for any help.

To clear 14" wheels you will want the metric S-10 based setup sold through vendors like www.superiorspindles.com

You can also get 14" disk brake wheels off of a later model car. Just make sure it has the same bolt pattern.

I went out to the local pick a part and got 14 inch wheels that fit fine with disk brakes. Just check them on some car in the yard to see if they rotate OK.

Do you know which models have the right bolt pattern? I'm also looking to get a set.
