I'm trying to remove the old window felting strips from the doors on my 69. The window doesn't crank down far enough to expose the screws. Is there some sort of trick to lowering the window more, such as a certain bolt or do I have to remove them all.

With the door panel removed, unbolt the window track and drop it down a little. Those original little screws are almost always rusted to death and a real PAIN to get out! You may have to use vice grips to remove them, or in a severe case, drill them out. I know it's not what you wanted to hear, but........
