Hey Guys....and gals if there are any...

I checked the outer wheelhouses on my stripped down '66 SS and looked as best as I could to compare against the pictures of them on the Goodmark site. They look real close to the same. If, in fact the hard top units wont fit a convertible, can they at least be sectioned (lap welded)to restore the inner lip (plus 2-3 inches) of the convertible units? Has anyone accomplished this feat? Do you have any pictures? Or, better yet, are you doing it now near where I live? :D I'll come over and help, labor trade. :D :D .. graemlins/waving.gif ..

Hey Chief,
I'm looking at the Goodmark catalog right now and it states

"all outer wheel houses must be modified on the top to fit convertible models".

By the way, I live in Richmond, about 10-15 minutes away from you.

I did it on my conv't. I had to section it, and ended up not using much of the new panel. It was a lot of work and I ended up thinking what a mess. It turned out OK in the end. but be prepared to not use alot of the new panel.

thanks Bill
