After almost 10 months since that fateful day, my 69 finally looks like a car again. I visited the shop the other day, after 18K plus dollars worth of damage, the car is finally in epoxy, and next week they will begin block sanding, disassembling, final bodywork, and BC/CC then final reassembly. Followed quickly by being trailered home to go into the garage under a car cover never to see the light of day again. God I miss my Convertible. Jason.
I kinda miss mine too. I haven't driven it since 1990.
What color are you painting it ?
I keep thinking that a light teal like you see on some of the 90's Ford trucks would be good.
My next choice is black.

As original as possible. It was code 52 Garnet Red, and will remain the same, only in Base Coat, Clear coat this time around. Jason.

That's great news, Jason. I wasn't even aware you were having it rebuilt. You will enjoy it all the more once it's done.

I dont know Bill, the last time I finished it the car was destroyed the same day. For months I lusted after the chance to drive my car with the top down, now the more I think about it, I cringe at the thought some jerk destroys it again. Maybe Ill just come sit in your front seat with a fan blowing into my hair to get the same affect. I really gotta make it down to Aurora to meet you in person. Jason.
