For all of you torque gurus out there, I need the torque spec for the rear brake flange to axle tube bracket (4 bolts each side), 65 Chevelle. Thanks in advance....

Are you talking about the drum brake backing plate to the axle tube flange ?
Those are 3/8 fine thread bolts, if I am remembering right. They should be at 25 ft lbs.
Are these the 4 bolts/nuts you are talking about ?

Those are the bolts I am talking about. Are you sure about the spec?

You could probably go as high as 35 ft lbs. 25-35 should be good.
Make sure they are 3/8" bolts.
Any other size would have a different torque spec.

Do they have a locking nut or lock washer ?

They have lock washers. I was going to put a little blue locktite on them too.

Jim,
that sounds good.
Make sure you use NEW lock washers.
30 ft lbs and blue loctite. You'll be fine.
