They'll make any rise cowl hood you like. Not sure what you mean by a ~weak link~ but the Glasstek unit is pretty stout and has provisions to bolt on the hinges and front latch. I did have holes drilled to mount the front chrome trim however. Hopefully a fiberglass hood would break before getting pushed throught the windshield, into me. Our cars don't have the catches the keep the hood firmly in place like newer cars. Later Steve | ||
