IMO, the 70 with the paperwork is more desirable now days. Although the 67 can be verified as an SS through the VIN, the most popular body is the 70 and also the most cloned. You'd probably get more $$ for it than the 67.

I'd say the 70 because of the paperwork and POP. It's also a more desirable body style to more people.

Not that the '67 isn't desirable and wont bring money though, it's just my opinion the '70 will bring more. Both are great cars.

Paperwork schmaper work I'd rather have the 67. :) Do a price search on 67s vs 70 and other than LS6 cars I think you will find the 67s are more expensive. Using supply/demand analogy I would say 67s are more desirable. Just my opinion and I could be wrong.

In that case I'd keep your '70 if it were me.

I was going to say the 67, but I think the color just put the 70 into the lead. My logic up until then was that I felt that the 454s had caused the 396 (1970) to be very much overlooked.

My opinion is rather biased because I own a 70, but I feel the 70 would get you more money. On the other hand that doesn't mean it's worth more.

The 70 is a sort of the celebrity of our cars, seems to be the most famous of the Chevelles so its probably going to be worth more. But there are a lot of people that like the 66-67 models better so in reality the one thats worth more is going to be different depending on who you talk to. Everyone has different tastes on what they like.

Here's my unbiased opinion, because I own a 65. If it were between a 70 and a 65 ...well you know the answer. I would say that the 70 is more popular to the masses than the 67 no matter what the color combo is. Go with your gut feeling, but I'd lean towards the 70.

Another vote for the 70, although 67's are my second favorite.

With the condition (I've seen it), options, history, paperwork, and color of the '70, IMO it's a no brainer. '70 hands down. especially with the 502 still in it and the numbers matching 402 sitting in the garage.

to many people turn their back on RED 70's without looking at the quality of the car.

I think the 70 is more popular but I personally like the 67's the best, and unfortunately I own a 70, Jim

I own one of each and I like them both but I really like the body style of the 67 more.Of course I have dumped way more money into the 70 cause it is a numbers matching original car but I drive the 67 more cause I dont have to worry about idiots as much :mad:
