hello everyone. Im getting ready to install my console and shifter. I was wondering if anyone in here has got there car stripped and could maybe give me the measurements of the back horseshoelike bracket that the console mounts too, from the lip under the dash (top of tunnel) to the front of this bracket. if anyone out there could help with this I would greatly appreciate it. I had it all writtrn down when I pulled the console from monte and lost the measurements. Thanx

will be easier to work from the rear seat dropoff. 17 inches forward you will see 3 slight indentions. mount rear bracket there the rest will fall into place. hope this helps graemlins/beers.gif

ok so I put the front of bracket to the the indention closest to the rear seat or measure 17 inches and mount front of bracket there?? or back of bracket at 17??

if you have your carpet up. measure 17 inches from the rearseat dropoff toward the dash. you should see the slight indentions just line your bracket holes with the indentions. install screws through your bracket into the indentions that line up with your bracket holes. (keep the bracket in center on tunnel)place your console into place , also your shifter you will see how to attach the other anchor points.
