need help i got a 68 tilt colum that i bought thought it was going to be a bolt in but now sure seems to be missing some special parts where the colum comes out of the firewall and the regular colum has the shaft that goes to the coupler this has no shaft and looks like a coupler should bolt here if anyone can help i can send pics of it was told it came out of a 68 chevelle thanks guys

Sounds like your installing a floor shift tilt into your car. You must have removed a column shift column. If that's the case, then you don't need all the linkage for the shifter. You will need to install a floor shifter at the same time of the column swap. Good luck.
