I just put weatherstriping in my doors, and now they wont close. They are about 3/4 of an inch from closing fully.

You will just have to put some force behind it to get them to shut all the way. Once you get them to shut set the car in the warm sun or warm garage and as the days go by they will get back to where they should be. Good luck.

Ehhhhhhh.... I tried that. Something is going to break if I push any harder.

Warm them up first. If you can park it in the sun, that will work. If not, break out the hair dryer!

By the way, bring the striker all the way out. Then after it sets for a day or so, move it in.

I have found that some brands of weatherstrip are stiffer than others. You haven't said what brand you are using. I have had good luck with Metro products.

I have used them both and agree Softseal is Firm'er then Metro.
Move the striker out .

A few minor door adjustments may be needed.

b-4 The Wises , On may 18th at Macunige Park. Wheels of Time has there monthly cruz.
If the wheathers nice 800 + cars.
They set a new record last June with over 1200 cars at that months cruz in !!!! IT was rained out last month, so LOOK out.
Then there the Ritz on the 26th from 4:00 pm .
