Any one have any recommendations to get bumpers rechromed in the Maryland, DC, Virginia area ? I will send them off if I need to but would rather have them done locally.
All suggestions welcome,

Bill,

I looked for a place locally, but didn't have any luck. We sent ours to Tri-City in Tennessee and are very happy with them.

Bill, there is a place in Largo/Landover called The Chrome Factory, I can't find the card I had, look in the phone book. No, I haven't used them and don't know anyone that has.

Bill,
TriCity goes to fall Carlisle, and I think they hit the Chrysler Carlisle, too. Would save you shipping, they could bring a bumper up for you, and you could give them your core at the show.

mac,
I really dont think I want to do the exchange deal. My bumpers are the originlas and I know that they fit. Have heard too many bad stories about exchanges :(

Hey Bill:

I hear there is someone in Manassas that does chroming and apparantly has a good reputation locally. My buddy that has the name and # is in STL at the GTO Nationals until tomorrow so I'll get it for you as soon as he gets back. At least it is kinda close to Waldorf. :-)

Thanks Jay,
There is a place in Capital Hgts http://www.chromefactory.com/ that one of my customers has been using for a street rod, but he is always complaining that they don't pay attention to some of the details, so the jury is still out on them. I have seen some of thier work, and it looks very nice, but he always having to take it back twice :(
