i'm absolutely confused. 64' elky. e-z wire loom. one green wire (actually says "horn") out of fuse box. i have two wires out of the back of the horn itself. no matter how i hook these things up, only one of two things happens, either the horn stays on, or doesn't work at all. am i missing something simple? relay seems to work fine, but i just can't get this thing to work right.....any ideas?

The factory wiring would have one wire coming out of the firewall. This wire comes from the horn button and goes to the horn relay. The horn wire would go to the horn relay but on another terminal.
Are you trying to tie the firewall wire directly to the horn? That doesn't sound right and suspect the horn isn't doing anything at that time.

i've tried several combo's. green wire to relay, one horn wire as lead, one as ground, etc. etc. i was told to use the back of horn as ground, that didn't work, etc. funny thing is, when green wire and horn wire are hooked to relay, all wires are hot. i'm not an electrical guy, and this is frustrating.

Private Message me an email address in the next 15 minutes and I'll send the drawing of that area. Maybe that will help.

Do you have the original horn relay along with the connector that plugs into the bottom?
