What should I use to clean up the inside of the fenders? 80 grit on D/A can only get so much surface. I want to shoot them with epoxy primer when they are clean, but the back of them has surface rust and some areas that need patching. Wire wheel? I have scrubbed them with simple green to remove all the road dirt and grime, now I need info on getting the surface acceptable to paint.

Get them blasted with ground glass.
