Hey Guys, I have just hooked up the 1995 Ford Windstar fans and have finished wiring the large fan, I went under the dash to get the Ignition Power and I see some wires just hanging and some capped off I mean its such a horibble job. So I started to clean it up, lets see what if you can help. First I have a connector hanging by the glove box with two wires coming from it blue, and blue with black stripe, have no idea what it was originally too it has been cut.

Second, I have a pink Ignition wire I hooked to the relay (found by the radio) that I found hanging, It is operated by the the bottom fuse in my panel but the panel is cracked were it would be labeled (wipers, radio, etc) I was wondering if this a good place to hook up my relay and what did that label say?

third, I stil have to hook up my second fan witch will be controlled by a Painless Temperature Sensor relay , can I hook both relays up to the same pink wire? or will this blow the fuse?

last one I have a clear wire hanging by the fuse panel any clue what this was too?

sorry for the questions guy but this guy really ruined this wiring.

Your relays should have a large (10 gauge or better) wire going directly to the battery, or a buss bar that is powered directly from the battery. These leads should have a fusible link installed right where they come off of the power supply (be it buss bar or battery).

If you are asking if you can trigger them both with the pink wire, I don't see that this would be a problem as it takes very little voltage to activate the relay. I suspect your temp. switches will send the ground signal to the relay to activate them??

Yes that is currently how I have it wired except instead of a fusible link I have and actual fuse, 30 amp (is this to high)
