went and bought a harbor frieght sawzall to cut up the 72 chevelle shell I posted in bench racing, I got as far as removing the roof and one quarter and the darn thing wont hold the blade anymore! blade keeps tipping up and causes the blade to jam and bend, I know you get what you pay for, but I figured if I could just get through this one shell I could toss the darn thing away but I guess Im going to exchange it tommorrow and see how far it goes before I need to exchange it again, fortunately it's on the way home from work. by the way if anyone wants this thing for the floors and frame and roof it's yours for the taking in tucson Jim

Was this a real Sawzall (Milwaukee) or an off-brand?

I guess I should have said chicago electric reciprocating saw, I just used the term genericly, nothing like the real thing I imagine Jim

Porter Cable $100 on sale at Home Depot. I beat the CRAP out of it for the last 2 years - still works great. My rule is always buy good tools. You may not think you will ever use it again after doing what you bought it to do, but I've surprised myself in that respect more than once.

Jim: You can borrow my genuine sawzall if you like and maybe I could use a bit of that metal. Let me know how soon you need it. Would this weekend work?
