I am getting ready to install a set of repro quarter panels I bought from Ausleys. Question I have is I was talked out of the Goodmark 1/4's because I was told that recently they have starting stamping them with much thiner sheet metal, or maybe it was thicker, I can't remember. Anyway, I was told that they were difficult to hang, and the ones I got were much better. I am looking for some suggestions on the best way to put these babies on to insure the best fit. Keep in mind these 1/4's are for a hardtop.
Thanks!

I have no experience with the Goodmark convert panels but have done 2 pairs of their hardtop panels. From my experience with them, its hard pressed to tell them from NOS quarters, compared the fit to NOS quarters I have.
Anyway I dont understand why you would choose to use hardtops quarters when the converts are avaible? Who told you that they wont fit? What type of quarters you buy?, full OE quarters or 80% type? I cant remember excatly where the two are different but if memory serves right you will end up only being able to use the quarter from about the bodyline down...Eric

I had both conv. quarters installed on my '72 and the bodyman told me they fit perfectly. They were made by Goodmark also. I would imagine it would be a pretty tough chore to install the coupe quarters. Good luck

I was told today by a company that quarter panels are made by one company and that Goodmark buys them just like everyone else does... They said that Goodmark doesn't manufacture anything. Can anyone validate this??
