will a 71 or 72 chevelle fender fit a 70? they are supposedly the same exept for the side marker lense location on a 70 any info would be great

I understand the headlight mounting area is different on the 71-72 fenders as well. I have heard guys say they modified it to work("hogged it out" was the term I remember). Maybe someone else will confirm this for sure for you. -- Marv

Yep, I did it on my son's 70 , I welded the side marker light area from a 70 onto a 71 fender and then had to butcher out some metal for the head light bucket. After it was all together you couldn't tell it though. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif
