I know I saw El Camino patch panels for a '71 somewhere, I seem to be having no luck in any of the catalogs. I'm thinking I might have seen it online. Who sells these and where, I know they were'nt cheap. I also don't need full halves, I only need a couple of pieces about 1-1/2 foot by 6" behind each wheel well. I know I saw some smaller pieces either in a catalog, or online. Does anyone know where?

I have an old catalog from The El Camino Store which shows bed floor panels 77L x 35W for a price of $99. They may have something better now. Also, they have a website now.

If you only need small sections and not the full replacement panels I would recommend getting something out of a donor car. The repop panels do not have the same exact rib spacing as the original and are thinner gauge metal then original. I know this from experience in using the repops. Just my .02

Yeah, the rest of the bed is in great shape, it's just those two sections behind each wheel where salt and gravel have sprayed up there over the last 30 years.
I'll look into El Camino store, that's alot cheaper than what I remembered. But I'd stil like to just patch them if possible. I'm a fairly proficient welder, so it wouldn't be too hard, removing the gas tank before welding would be the hardest part of the whole thing..
I'll put a WTB ad here on Chevelles.com and see if anyone can donate a section of floor. That's all I really want, there are no El Caminos to use as donors around here, sadly, and no Chevelles or wagons either.. Everything I've needed so far, had to come from the lower 48. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/frown.gif Oh well.
If anyone reads this and can get me some donor patch panels, please do not hesitate to leave a message, or email me!! http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif Thanks!

I believe I can get the patch panels. Give me a call using the link in my sig, and I'll do the best I can(they would be repo's).
