I have a 72 Chevelle that I am replacing the windshield frame upper piece and both side pillars. I am going to cut the upper piece back 8 inches into the roof, could you tell me the most conveinent way to cut the old frame off and install the new one? Also, does anyone know where I can find the bottom piece that the windshield sets on. I think it is called the cowl but not real sure. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know.

To minimize the amount of warpage I would only replace enough of the top portion to correct the corrosion problem. Try to keep your seam on the curved area of the roof where it is stronger and less chance of warpage. jmo
