My '72 is auto trans and manual drum (it has the wide brake pedal). I bought a rebuilt booster to use in my disc conversion and found the pushrod would barely thread into the bracket on the brake pedal (which I moved to the bottom hole). My total pedal travel is much reduced. It is such that I had to screw the brake light switch all the way in to cause it to actuate when the brake pedal is at rest (which is now a good ways off the rubber bumper). Is this normal or does something else need to be changed also? Is the pedal travel sufficient?

Man, I thought this was going to be a simple conversion!

there should be a bump tab that bolts on in front of the pedal so that it doesnt come back as far from the floor for disc applications
