I just put in a console in my 72 chevelle. I am converting it from column shift to console shift. I was wondering if anybody had a transmission bracket for the shifter cable to hook to the transmission.

I just put in a console in my 72 chevelle. I am converting it from column shift to console shift. I was wondering if anybody had a transmission bracket for the shifter cable to hook to the transmission.

The transmission case is actually drilled and tapped for mounting of the bracket. The last one I put in, the transmission case didn't have it so,
I made the bracket for a friend's '72. Pretty sure I still have the bracket and shift cable. I'll look for it when I get home this afternoon.

Now that I think about it, I had to make a "bracket," for the "original bracket,"
rather than the "bracket" itself. Pretty sure I still have it all though.
