I don't know what the panels are correctly named but, the body panels that the tail light housings
bolt to on my 65 are totally rusted out along with the bottom lip of the trunk opening. Has anyone ever rebult theirs with new metal? Or even better does anyone have a, or know where one is, a parts car that I could remove some from?

I replaced the bottom third of mine.. just ended up making it out of 20ga steel, a vise, and a hammer. Wasn't too bad, but I didn't have to make any curves. If it's as bad as it sounds like on yours, it's probably donor-car time.
