Cant help you with the part number but the Kneeknocker was only available in 66. It was located on the left side of the column and commonly called the "blinker Tach" because it blocked the left turn signal. So an arrow for that side is built right into the tach.

Oops! Still not quite straight. In 66 the tach mounts just below the cluster to the right of the steering column. It's in a bad location in that it's in the way when moving from the accelerator to the brake and back, knock you knee against it. In 67 the tach was move to the left most side of the cluster right in front of the left blinker light, a light was added to the tach for the left blinker. So for 66 it's a "Knee Knocker Tach" and for 67 it's a "Blinker Tach". Here's (http://members.aol.com/zapthatrat/int18.jpg) a pic of a 66.

Opps, sorry about this statement above. I forgot to add "67" to the blinker tach sentence. :clonk: Although its pretty self explainitory.

Guess you didn't get an answer to your question. I don't have the exact location of the tach. For the wiring, the tach should have three wires. Gray is for the light, black/pink is power and brown is the signal. If you have the optional gauge cluster in you car and a factory or correct reproduction dash harness. The harness will have the connections for the tach. If you don't have the tach harness you can connect the power wire to the IGN terminal on the fuse block, the light will connect to the LAMP terminal also on the fuse block and the signal wire will pass through the firewall then attach to the coil - terminal. Also the tack mounting grounds to the dash.
