Need a little help here, bare with me as I try and explain the area of the car. Directly behind the door opening (on a 2dr) the rear quarters start to flare out. My question is, Does the panel start to flare out immediately after the opening? I welded in my quarters about 2" from the door opening, but it kind of looks now like the original metal had been pushed back in. It seems the quarter should start to flare out right after the opening.

the 64-65 mid body line rear 1/4 flare out. starts about 2 to 3 in behind the rear of the door edge. on a 2 door car.....an even then it's slight...
