Kudos to the WA folks, but I am disappointed. I would rather at least they pick somehwere a little farther south for easier access instead of having to drive into the fricking nightmare of NW WA traffic. I guess the track won't see any of my money. I'd rather drive in L.A. traffic than anywhere near Seattle.

Bremerton is across the sound from Seattle, so if you were coming up I-5, you'd go west across the Tacoma Narrows long before you got up to the Seattle traffic area-no problems there!

Actually if coming from the south you would go through Olympia and then Shelton to come in the "back" way. About 20 to 25 miles longer but no where near the traffic that will be going up highway 16 or by the ferries and busses through Bremerton. I was the Postmaster of Bremerton until October 1998 so I know the roads.........

Seattle traffic?? Bah!! I used to commute into Manhattan every day! Even worse than that-try going around the VA side of the DC beltway. You'll need duct-tape on your head to keep it from exploding, the traffic is THAT bad!
