The passanger side A arm just broke on my 67 chevelle. Where can I find a high quality replacement part? I am looking to replace both driver and passanger side arms and I have just swiched to disk brakes. Could that of been the reason that the A arm broke?

Global West primaraly sell's performance stuff but they can get stock stuff for you. Doug found a couple of lowers for my '67 Elcamino. He powder coated & installed the Del-A-Lum bushings for around $120

Good used A-arms should also be readily from junk yards. Where did the arm break? What type of disk brakes did you use? I believe some of the "tall spindle" types require the use of special ball joints which have the diameter that presses into the A-arm turned down a little bit.

I got one from Sundells and one from Krebs Classics (http://www.krebsclassic.com). The one from Krebs was much cheaper.

I just saw an ad for Brand new A-arms for Chevelles in Chevy High Performance Magazine. The first ones to repop them.

Jimmy, are they tubular? That would be the way to go.

No they're not tubular. Stock. But, if you want to spiffy, Speedway sells a totally adjustable spherical rod end upper contol arm for a decent price.

Another option would be tubular lowers. I purchased these from FatMan Fabrications (http://www.fatmanfab.com). The lowers are the same geometry as stock. The Uppers in this pic are from Global-West.

I have two complete sets of stock 1965 Chevelle control arms. I'm pretty sure they are the same. If you can make use of them I'd sell you what you need cheap. Then you can put in whatever bushings and joints you want.
