Looks tuff! I'm running stock 14x5s with replacement 195/75R14s, slightly stuffy.

Tell me, I notice blue Calfornia plates; what time span did those plates get used (1970 - early / mid 80s?). Thanks.

All basically stock for now. Factory front discs/spindles and rear drums.

Don't quote me, but I want to say the blue plates were phased out in ~1983, and I believe they were phased in ~1971. My plates came with the car and were originally ordered for the previous owner's wife's Corvette. I like 'em.

That's very interesting. Sounds like we might have found that elusive 66 or 67 with 10" wide rear wheels. What size rear tires?

275/40-17 Nitto drag radials. I could have easily got 285/40-17's to fit, and maybe even 295's.

Yep, 295/45 18's in the back

those budniks look sweet man. I am looking to put 17x7 Torq Thrust II's on my 67 convertible and 18x8 in the rear but i dont know what backspacing to go with. I bought some 17x7's but the 4" backspacing made them stick out way too far and they would rub because of how low the front end sits. What backspacing should I use?

Stick out too far?? Since 17x9.5's with 5.75" backspacing will fit on the front,it's kinda hard to fathom 17x7's with 4" backspacing would stick out too far. Just doesn't make sense.
