I saw a Red Olds Cutlass for sale today while i was practicing my golf shots. I couldn't see what kind of engine it had, but it seemed pretty nice. I don't know too much about them but it was for sale for $6500. Forgot to write down the phone #. :clonk:
No rust, nice paint, good deal?

Buckets? Console?
$6500 is reasonable if its solid..if its got a 455 or a warmed over drivetrain, consider it a bonus..these cars ain't getting any cheaper

I had a '69 Cutlass Supreme for years during highschool and college. It was a great car, looked kinda wierd IMHO but would fry the tires to no end, and that's all I cared about :)
Mine had the "Rocket 350", I think it was a 310hp 350 when it was made, I put a cam, headers, turbo mufflers, etc. on it and it was the baddest car in the neighborhood, all the neighbors hated it because it rattled their windows.
Anyhow, as Mr. 4 Speed said, they're not going to get any cheaper, so if you like it and it's clean and runs strong, $6500 is probably reasonable. Mondello Performance makes all kinds of aftermarket parts for them, or you could easily put a Chevy motor in (same chassis as a Chevelle).

I saw a 70 Cutlass at the CCC car show in Fort Worth a few years back. It had been immaculately restored by a father and son. It was a fastback and they painted it a white/red color combo, had a custom interior installed, and topped it off with a 350 Chevy engine. The car was top notch, a sure trophy winner, and that was the first and only time I've ever seen it. I wish they'd bring it back out to the shows.
