anyone running a performer rpm on a 67 chevelle?,what air cleaner do you use? I'm talking bbc here

Doesnt matter big block or small block or what year. Go with a K&N cant go wrong and you will never have to buy a new one.

man this sound familier. I just installed the performer rpm on my 454 in a 68. Got a drop base (factory 69, 396 camaro) and chrome lid from a buddy of mine. Am able to use a 3 inch filter element. Guess you could use the drop base K&N sells. Like said before you cant go wrong with a K&N filter,good for life and flows good too.

Your talking about the hood clearance issues. A k&N drop base should work.
