Front end as in suspension...
or front end as in body parts...?

I am confused with where the bumper supports go, the grille attatches, head light assembly bolts up, and how every thing fits together and where it all attatches to the chassis. not suspension. but i am wanting to replace shocks and springs so if you have one i would like to see that.
thanks,

Get yourself an assembly manual; it's the best $20 you'll ever spend if you're having trouble remembering how stuff goes together. I got mine from Greenwood Chevrolet (http://greenwoodchevy.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=GCGPPEDH&Category_Code=BV_SM).

If you are going to do the springs and/or the A-arm bushings, you will need one of these
http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product?storeId=10101&Pr=p_Product.CATENTRY_ID%3A2004154&TID=100&TID=100&productId=2004154&catalogId=10101

Autozone carries them. They have a tool borrowing program where you 'buy' the tool and then 'return' it for a full refund. I just bought it.

The best thing I ever did was purchase a set of manuals. They may not be the easiest books to work with but they will give you an answer 99% of the time.

OPGI has the set for around $70 including (1) GM Shop Manual (1) GM Fisher Body Manual (1) Reprinted Factory Assembly Line Manual. Part #MCP506 (https://www.opgi.com/product.asp?ProdCode=MCP506&topcatid=39&grpcode=10467&yearrange=&chapterid=577). This is the set I got and they are great quality. You may find them cheaper elsewhere.

DG: I'm REALLY hoping that wasn't your car!

With what's left in that picture you would still have a faster car than mine.

I just found it on the web looking for "exploded diagrams for the Chevelle" and couldn't pass it up.

This is mine....
