I have A 66 that I want to buff up and take out some surface scraths. Also need to touch up a couple small spots. I was told when I bought the car that the paint was about ten years old.I dont know if its laq or enamal.Any advice would be helpful I,m a welder and metal guy not a real good painter but have done alittle.Also what kind of polisher should I buy?The paint is red. take a waxed pad and rub a bit, does the pad turn red?
If so be careful buffing, you might go through the paint completely!
