I just recieved a borgwarner 5 speed out of a 1983 z 28. does anybody know if it will go in place of my 3 speed manual, with factory overdrive. I've heard it will, but may have to change tail shaft with s10 tranny? to clear bench seat. I would like to not have to change the tailshaft? will this work? Are bucket seats an option? is this a good tranny to go through all this, the price was rite.
