Everytime I go over a big bump in the road or rail road tracks or something i hear a loud "thump" from the right rear of the car. What could it be?

Spare tire not bolted down firmly? (Try the easy ones first!)

Could also be time for bushings

:D My first step when troubleshooting weird noises like that is always to clean out the trunk. It has actually worked several times. It could be anything being loose, so I'd check for a bad shock, shock bushing or a weak exhaust pipe hanger. The exhaust system is heavy when assembled, and can bounce around quite a bit even if the hangers appear to be in good shape. And an aftermarket strap type hanger can allow the exhaust system to move up or sideways and hit the floor pan, even if the hangers are brand new.

Now that I look at it, the exhaust is loose, and a few things are in the trunk. I will fix the exhaust and see how it goes. Thanks guys, i never would of thought of those things.

If its a loud enough noise you could probably see something abviously broken or loose in the back. You could always try bouncing the vehicle by hand and see if you can hear it.

Olle, you where right. There where a few things in there that where bouncing around. Thanks for saving me time.
