I really like the gm big block cast valve covers (part# 12495488). Does anyone here have a set of these? If so, is the valve cover any taller than the stock valve covers that came from the factory on my '71 SS454? I have the harland sharp full roller rockers and would like to find out if these valve covers will clear the rockers if I use the thick gasket or double up on the gaskets. I'm hoping that they are a little taller than stock. Thanks!

I run the cast GM Valve covers on my small block with 1:6 roller rockers and have no issues at all. I run the felpro gasket that is metal sandwitched between cork.
