: Roast the tires on the mini-van?
frankf72malibu Jun 15th, 05, 12:12 AM I had to run to the store this evening and pick up some supplies to finish the brakes on my 72 wagon. As I pull into the Wal-Mart parking lot in the wife's mini-van I see alot of cars with all the owners standing around talking. There was mostly ricers but there was one sweet 70 Camaro. As I was leaving I had to tell myself not to pull through the middle of them and turn off the traction control on the mini-van and show them a little tire smoke. Maybe I can do that next Tuesday night..... What do you all think?

Remember the movie Carrie?
"They're all going to laugh at you!"
Chevelle408 Jun 15th, 05, 2:01 AM That's worse than being a ricer.
1970SS396&1967 Jun 15th, 05, 2:24 AM I say "light em up".......damn the torpedos....
Thad Jun 15th, 05, 7:30 AM I say "light em up".......damn the torpedos....
Ditto, smoke em if you got em.
70_Malibu Jun 15th, 05, 7:44 AM Make sure to pour a little bleach down and use your "line lock" (e-brake) for a really cool slow roller...
John Michael Jun 15th, 05, 9:01 AM First you gotta put a huge cardboard wing painted gold on the back and write "NOS" on the windows with soap...then go for it. :)
Chirp08 Jun 15th, 05, 10:34 AM its not worse being a ricer, its apples to apples haha
BowtieAaron Jun 15th, 05, 10:57 AM i say do it, show em up... it might look somthing like this (maybe a little newer van though)... (yes ther things we do after a nice feild trip to the drag strip for school)....

Chevello Jun 15th, 05, 4:52 PM Pretty cool, Aaron. How high did you have to jack it up to get it to do that? :D

Now that was absolutely hilarious. Maybe I can carry the gold cardboard theme along the sides for the ground effects look.... I could also write some ridiculously low quarter mile time on the window.
Aaron,
It is newer and my wife always tells me not to rev the engine when I am next to Corvettes. The story behind that - It is a Chrysler with the BIG V6 and a friend told me about an article where it beat an early 70's vette in the quarter. Of course, I wanted to test that theory. I just keep pulling up next to newer vettes.
Thanks for the laughs.

Chris R Jun 16th, 05, 3:20 AM Im still waiting for someone to drop a V8 into a Caravan/Voyager chassis. Or a Venture. The Astro van has been done already. Still cool though.
BowtieAaron Jun 16th, 05, 9:56 PM ey yi yi yi,
you guys are great. that wasnt me, that was my friend. you if you mash it in a straight line it will roast em, it has a v6 in it. but if you ebrake it and turn the wheel, it will roast em like that, and better.
and for the s10forum thing at the bottom of the pick. i alsmost bought an s10, and joined the forums, and got a gallery, thats where i host all my pics/vids from.
that van is great. we have taken it out just to go crusing in, and end up beating every riced out import we see. its really funny.
