I have a '68 Chevelle Malibu with a SS hood. It is my understanding that the hood hinges for the SS hood are different. Also, I know that the '69 hinges were re-designed.

What hinges should I get for my car???

I don't know, but don't buy them from the Paddock. I did for my '68SS and they are some cheap-assed Taiwan knock offs that don't even open the hood all the way. And at $50 a pop I expected way more.

don't get nickers in a knot :eek: ... its not the car mounting point that different ... its the hood side....... so use what ever hinges fit the hood .... 68 hinges for 68 hood... you can put 69 hood on 68 car by using 69 hinges on 69 hood graemlins/thumbsup.gif
