Now that the shiftkit is in my th350, its shifts nice and hard in Drive, but when i floor it, there isn't nearly the same throttle response as if i downshift into the same gear myself, and it winds out, im talking that it can not possibly shift any later without blowing up (its scary to listen to it rev that high before hte shift lol). Also if i put it in 1st and shift to second myself, it doesn't shift nearly as fast as it does in drive, but it accelerates faster and is more torquey when i choose the gear (even if its in "drive" but 2nd, and i shift from drive into 2nd myself, its a whole different car). If i put it in drive it will merely chirp the tires from a stop, if i put it into 1st i can spin them a good 20-25ft.

Is something wrong? Is there some way to get hte same shift speed in the manual mode as in drive? Is there some way to get the same throttle response/torque in drive as in manual mode?

manually shifting gives it full line pressure if i understand correct, this is why it feels different...but it sounds like yours is a bigger difference than usual

is it slipping in drive? maybe its not getting enough pressure when left in drive?

are you talking about the vacuum line from the intake?

no, i was referring to internal fluid pressure...thought someone more knowledable would have chimed in by now
