Just wanted to vent my frustration with the TCI Streetfighter TH400 Trans I purchased from Summit. I have now replaced just about every seal that the thing comes with and I have new pan on order to correct the pan leak from the cheap pan it came with. TCI has been totally non-responsive. I called initially with concerns of leaks which Summit referred me to TCI for warranty work. They wanted me to ship it to them for work... approx 4 week turn around. UNACCEPTABLE. So I took it to the tranny shop and got the leaks fixed. TCI refuses to even return my calls regarding this matter. My cousin warned me about TCI and I should have listened. I WILL NEVER BUY A TCI PRODUCT AGAIN.

I have always had great luck with TCI unlike some of the other low priced trans companies.

Don't to sound like a jerk,stick with a local builder..TH400's aren't hard to build,they're 40 years old.
A stock rebuild with a TransGo shift kit is all they need
..no need to buy a trans mail order.

That sucks, I have a TCI Circlematic and put it through the paces regularly and have no issues with there powerglides.

What seal, the pump or tail shaft?

Sorry to hear about your feelings toward TCI. I always thought they were good products. Maybe was just this one time bad luck. But I uderstand your feelings, I'd probably feel the same way.
