posted earlier on a friends 350 turns out it had a bent push rod I thought maybesince the plug wires were tied together and shredding apart it was cross firing and maybe that caused it to bend the rod, well I installed a new pushrod adjusted the rocker and it's blowing past the exh. valve, and hence no comp. whats the chances of bad spark plug wires causeing this? with the new rod everything looks normal, I'm going to try blowing carb cleaner in the off chance there carbon build up holding the valve open, but I find it highly unlikely, rocker doesn't look blued so I think it's getting oil, is there anything else I should look for? I may do him a favor and swap the head out for him, all the other cylinder is running 140-145 PSI, any inputs greatly appreciated thanks Jim
