: Replacing trunk lock, advice?

I'm putting a new trunk lock on my 67 Malibu. I got the new lock from National Parts Depot, and it came without any instructions. I haven't tried to remove the old one yet, and before I do anything I thought I'd ask if it's as simple as it seems, or if there's anything I should know ahead of time (like those infamous glovebox locks).

Thanks for any help.

Simple project.
There is a tab inside the trunk that holds the lock in place.
It slides to the side to release the trunk lock which then slides right out.
The tab should have a sheet metal screw holding it in place, but may not have the screw if somebody else has removed it before.
So simple you'll feel silly for asking any questions.
you will be done in 5 minutes or less, can do it in about a minute or two.

I figured this was true, but all I could think about was that #$%^&* glovebox lock... :)
