Hey all .. I just pulled my fan (nonclutch) off my car and also replaced the long water pump (454 motor).

I went ahead and purchased the fan/clutch kit (Part # FANKIT-7BL) from Ground Up (haven't received yet). Now does this bolt directly to the water pump pulley or is there a spacer that goes inbetween?

I first purchased a fan from OPGI (part # C980305) thinking I would just go without the clutch but the bolt pattern isn't even close to what I have now. My bolt patter is more like OPGI part # CH24396 (small hole in middle and 4 close around it).

Am I going to have issues with this new clutch fan assembly I purchased bolting up to my pully/water pump??

Thanks,

Dave

No, fan bolts to clutch assembly which bolts to water pump, it will be obvious when you seen them (I hope).

The fan blades do not interchange between clutch fan and non-clutch.

Maybe this will help u see the difference.
