I'm running an electric pump on my chevelle with a 850 dp. I burnt one up because my p'up tube filter was falling apart and blocking the pick up tube. I was told i should have 1/2" pick up tube in the tank without a filter sock on it. Does anyone know of a company that make this. It will be going into a stock tank. Thanks.

You could get a 1/2 pipe and bend it. The next step would be to drill a hole beside the 3/8 tube and then weld it or perhaps use JB weld. The thick pipe are sometimes tough to bend. A guy at a hydraulics bent mine and just eyeballed it. I don't know of a company who makes one but that would be a good idea maybe Moroso could construct one.

You could also buy a sump kit from comp eng and get a gastank shop to weld it in. It could be hard to find a shop to do this for you if the tank is used.

I'm using the stock 3/8" pickup, no sock, a filter before the electric pump and another before the carburetor, works great so far.
