I have a 350 trans, w/ shift kit, that I removed from my 70' Elky,... back in 1997, when I went the 700r4 route. Trans worked properly before removal, but, ...now I need to evaluate it further, before trying to sell it. I pulled the pan, and found some sludge, with particles, ... that are attracted to a magnet. Fluid was redish brown, with no bad smell. My question is: What is normal for a trans that has seen .. quite a few miles? Should I be concerned or not? I want to represent it honestly, before selling. Appreciate all input. Thanks
