When we did the 327 to 396 engine swap and had everything apart, some of the fluid leaked out of the front of the M-21. Now that we've got it all back together and running, I'm remembering that I meant to check on this before.
How do I check the fluid level on an M-21 and how/where do I add more to it if it is low?
Thanks!

Pipe plug on the right/passenger side. Oil level should be about level with the bottom of the hole. Probably should've checked out the leak while the engine was out. My 2 cents.

Hmmm... I guess I don't actually think it was a "leak" really. Maybe it was and I just don't know. It was just when we tipped it after we removed it from the bellhousing, some fluid came out at the junction point. I thought it was supposed to happen actually.
Maybe it wasn't even from inside? Is there openings for fluid from the inside to the shaft?
Or maybe it was just lubrication inside that junction point that I don't need to worry about at all?
It wasn't a ton leaking out or anything -- but a small puddle formed when it was left tilted for a while.
