having trouble lining everything up perfect got the hood lined up with the fenders
got the fenders lined up with the headlight fender extensions but the hood is slightly higher than the headlightfender exrensions
is this how its supposed to be if not any= suggestions on a fix?

Isn't 70 the only year that they had headlight extensions? Also, coupe extensions are different from Elky extensions.

Rob the first thing that comes to mind is that the rubber stops might be to high. All you need to do is screw them down, that will lower the edges of the hood. If that is not the case the only remainging thing that comes to mind is that you will have to very slightly bend the hood down in the corners. You do that by placing a piece of wood in the middle that is well supported. Now make sure you have a friend with you, have your buddy hold the opposite side of the hood down as you very slightly apply pressure to the corner. This bends the corner of the hood down, repeat to the other side.
But make sure this is your last resort. Try readjusting a fender or ext before bending the hood. It wont but any visable damage, but should be the last resort. If you had a elcamino ext on a chevelle fender you would notice it right away as they dont even line up...Eric
