Our Visor fell out of the pivoting hole it is OEM. I was wondering how to attempt a repair or replacement. The connecting bracket arm which bolts to the visor is the problem. What is this item called? Does anyone have a 68 Chevy Malibu Convertible Shop Manual to scan the visor assembly parts breakdown?
Thanks for any help.

Hello,
Are you referring to the "aluminum arm" that bolts to the header? These parts are available as reproduction for $80 a pair.
I replaced mine recently. Nice parts. They come with the plastic bushings that are a must to keep the visor "in place".
Here is a set on eBay found using search..........chevelle visor.
