I have posted a message about a good cam choice a while ago but didnt get many responses .

Please check my cam choice before I purchase the cam and springs and ect.

summit 228 - 238 @50 540 - 540 114 lobe sep

crane 228 - 236 @50 530 - 551 114 lobe sep

crane 236 - 246 @50 553 - 571 114 lobe sep

My setup is a supercharged 468, WEIAND 177 BLOWER, 9.1, 781 heads 2.19 - 1.88 ported unshrouded valves, 700r4, 3:42 posi, in a 72 chevelle convert.


I heard alot about the voodo cams but I believe all of them are on a 110 grind.

VooDoos are available on different LSAs on special order, at special order prices. I would not use a larger cam than the VooDoo 276, which is 276/284 at the seat, 233/241 at .050, and .554/.572 valve lift, and of course, 114 LSA if ordered. The VooDoo 268 is also usable, 268/276 at the seat, 227/233 at .050, .542/.552 valve lift, and 114 LSA for the blower.
I am waiting for someone to ask if we can grind the SBC VooDoo lobes on the BBC.... And of course we can, 268/276 has .554/.572 valve lift, 276/284 has .572/.596 valve lift, and 284/292 has .596/.620 valve lift......
