Please indicate the correct scheme, as I've seen variations in the aftermarket parts catalogs.

1.Red goes up or down?
2.White area outlined in blue? (Y1 shows this added detail, OPGI doesn't).

I'm about to re-brush mine, which has no original color remaining. Any other suggestions for this task? How should I best seal/preserve the newly applied paint?

3.Should the front and lower side aluminum trim be flat black through the center section? The trim pieces on my tailgate do have this area painted.

Mine's white on top, red on bottom, blue bowtie. I know it's the original emblem, but I don't know if it's the original scheme or if it's been repainted.
