I was wondering if there is any reason why a SS hood from a 68 chevelle wouldn't fit a 69 chevelle? Thanks!

I had to cut a small hole in the 68 hood framework to allow the arm to clear. I do know i made it work, and never realized they were different til i had it painted and was trying to make it fit... I dont think i had the hinges off the 68 though, but i guess i should have. | ||
