Mine has the "Idiot Lights" w/o tach and a Non-Tilt wheel. It's a BB 4 Spd too.. (I Bet it was fun w/o a tach and Manual Steering!)

Tilt, Tach and gauges were options. Speedometer should be the round style and not the sweep style but these could have been changed by a former owner.

THey are options, my '72 true SS has no tach or tilt wheel. It's a 402 BB with automatic, I'd figure with a manual more people got tachs.

It has the standard idiot lights instead of the special instrumentation (real gauges) pakage.

I am pretty sure that 1972 SS dashes had a seatbelt warning light. This light was adjacent to the radio and was a separate idiot light. It was about 1 1/2 inches wide and about 3/4 inch high.
